- Originally trained as an interior designer, I discovered my passion for making functional pottery in 2002. After renovating an old 1920's storefront, I opened Jane Bess Pottery LLC in November 2006. Stop by my charming shop and working pottery studio, and add to your pottery collection. My pottery makes great Christmas gifts, birthday gifts and wonderful one-of-a-kind wedding gifts. My pottery is ideal for coastal living, country living or entertaining in the city. It is always signed and dated and locally made in Edgefield, SC.
